A twin buster of happiness,

Once it hit you'll never feel relief

It will cut through deep.

Sadness and grief

A peculiar emotion to handle,

Making you helpless in brief

That will not let you sleep.

Sadness and grief

Let you live in cold,

Steal your joy like a thief

Make you shiver that weep.

Sadness and grief

Open darkness of sorrow,

Yet soon like a leaf

It will fall and leap.

Sadness and grief

Little by little will be less,

Soon happiness will be a chief

And only memories of lost will keep.
